External Interfaces
External Interface Details Page
The external interface details page has 2 main collapsible sections:

Interface information
•
Control point information
The sections are identified by a gray bar across the page. At the right end of each gray bar is a
chevron. Click the chevron to collapse or expand the section. The chevron points up or down in
context, depending on whether the section is collapsed or not:
At the bottom of the page are 3 simple buttons:
•
Save
Click ‘Save’ to commit (make permanent) the changes you have made in the page.
•
Revert to Saved
Click ‘Revert to Saved’ to restore the saved version of the external interface definition, dis-
carding any changes you have made (since the last save).
•
‘Save & Close’
Click ‘Save & Close’ to commit the changes you have made in the page and then close the
page.
Interface Information
This section presents the name and protocol of the external interface definition:
You can edit the external interface definition’s name here but you cannot change the protocol in
this section. For that you must use the ‘Apps’ table under the ‘Views’ pane.
You can also edit any parameters that apply to the interface.
Control Point Information
This section presents the external interface definition’s control point:
it is here that you define the external interface’s control point.
