Hosts Table
•
Log mode. This field is a drop-down list in which you can select one of 8 logging modes.
They are listed here, in order of the amount of information recorded:
No logging
Log errors
Log warnings
Log system events
Log transactions
Log all events
Log debugging info
Log verbose debugging info
(this consumes a great amount of disk space)
•
Parameters.
You may ignore this field. It was created in an earlier version of NV9000-SE Utilities and is no
longer needed.
However, the field does accept one parameter: “
kr = off
” where “kr” means “kill rogues.”
“Rogues” are system components that are not responding to external stimuli. To “kill a
rogue” is to turn the software component off.
If the parameter field is “kr = off” exactly, the host does not kill rogues. If the parameter is
anything else, the host does kill rogues.
This parameter value might or might not have an effect on your system.
•
Backup computer name.
You may ignore this field. It was created in an earlier version of NV9000-SE Utilities and is no
longer needed.
