Master Control
‘Add Nvision Master Control’ Page
Buttons
‘Add & Edit’ Button
Click ‘Add & Edit’ button to go to the master control details page. In this page, you can specify
the IP address of the MCPM or MCE. (The IP address is its control point):
(The master control system’s protocol is always ‘NVMasterControlEthernetProtocol’.
There are no fields in which to enter level or “crosspoint” information.
‘Add & Clear’ Button
Click ‘Add & Clear’ to accept the master control system and clear the ‘Add Nvision Master
Control’ page.
The master control system definition, as defined in the ‘Add Nvision Master Control’ page is
incomplete. You must later go to the ‘PhysLevels’ table to specify the number of inputs and
outputs and to enable shared control.
This button allows you to create a number of master control definitions rapidly and complete
them later.
‘Clear’ Button
Click ‘Clear’ if you want to terminate the master control system definition you started.
When you click ‘Clear’, the ‘Add Nvision Master Control’ page re-initializes for another entry.
