Parameter List

Each row in the list represents a parameter. The list has 4 fields:

ID. The data base ID for the parameter. These numbers are generated automatically and you
cannot change them.

Name. This is the parameter’s name. NV9000-SE Utilities processes a small number of param-
eters. You must enter the parameter name exactly.

Value. This is the parameter’s value. The range of values for a parameter depends entirely on
the parameter. See

Parameters

on page 498.

Description. This field is free-form and arbitrary. It is a good idea to enter commentary in this
field.

Buttons

At the bottom of the page are 5 buttons:

Add

Click ‘Add’ to add a parameter to the table. NV9000-SE Utilities creates a new row at the bot-
tom of the router list in which you can enter parameter data.

Remember that NV9000-SE Utilities processes only parameters whose names it recognizes.
Type parameter names exactly. (It is assumed you will know a parameter name and its range
of values because you have communicated with a Grass Valley service technician.)

(The ID is generated by NV9000-SE Utilities.)

Delete

Select one or more rows in the ‘SysParams’ table and click ‘Delete’ to remove those parame-
ters from the table.

NV9000-SE Utilities deletes the parameters immediately and without warning.

Save

Click ‘Save’ to commit (make permanent) the changes you have made in the page.

Revert to Saved

Click ‘Revert to Saved’ to restore the saved version of the system parameters table, discard-
ing any changes you have made (since the last save).

‘Save & Close’

Click ‘Save & Close’ to commit the changes you have made in the page and then close the
page.
