Control Panels
Panel Features
During configuration, you can prescribe panel behavior that depends on the tally inputs.
What hardware you connect to the tally interface is, of course, up to you. Miranda provides a
breakout cable (WC0053) for the tally connector as a purchase option.
The tally interface, also called a GPIO interface, is labeled a “GPI interface.” on the rear of the
panel.
The NV9575-VF (not an actual panel) has only GPIO connectors. Although not a control panel, it
is configured as if it were. It has 64 relay outputs and 32 optically isolated inputs.
The actual control panels that support GPIO have 4 relay outputs and 8 optically isolated inputs.
These are the panels:
NV9605
NV9606
NV9607
NV9609
NV9649 (under NV9609 model)
The GPIO Section of the Panel Configuration Page
The panel configuration page provides a GPIO section, below the tree window:
Click on a button under ‘Outputs’ to configure one of the 4 tally outputs or click on a button
under ‘Inputs’ to configure one of the 8 tally inputs.
There are no actual GPIO buttons on the control panel.
Configuring Outputs
Clicking an output button (one of 4) displays a “Relay Rule” dialog for the output:
