Edit/View DHCP
The ‘Edit/View DHCP’ command presents a view of the DHCP mappings for the system selected
controller’s networks:
Fig. 5-4: Configure DHCP Dialog
Each of the networks of a system controller supports DHCP. In the dialog of this command, the
networks are called scopes. Because the typical system controller has 2 “router and panel”
networks, there are typically two scopes listed in the drop-down menu of this dialog.
You can choose any scope available in the drop-down menu. The DHCP assigments for that
scope appear in the lists labeled ‘Controller 1’ and ‘Controller 2’.
Add Scope(s)
You can create additional scopes by clicking the ‘Add Scope(s)’ button. A dialog such as the
following appears:
To add a scope (i.e., a system controller network), enter its IP address in the field at the left and
then click ‘Add IP to New Scope List’. The new IP address will appear in the list of scopes at the
right. When you have finished adding scopes, click ‘Save’. Or click ‘Cancel’ if you make a mistake.
The new scopes appear in the drop-down menu of the ‘Configure DHCP’ dialog (shown in
Figure 5-4).
A reboot of the system controller(s) is required before the new scopes take effect.
