‘Signal Type’ Table

The ‘Signal Types’ table can be found in the ‘Views’ pane. It lists all defined signal types:

You can add and delete signal types here. These signal types are referenced, by name, in the
‘Virtual Level Signal Binding’ table.

The ‘Description’ fields are simply notes for your own use.

NV9000-SE Utilities provides a default set of virtual level types, a default set of signal types,
and a default signal binding table. You might need to re-define some of these tables for your
system.

The names of the signal types are completely arbitrary. You can use any names that are
suitable in your system.

Filter

At the top of the page is a ‘Name’ filter. If you enter text in this field, the list of signal types is
restricted to those entries whose names contain the text you entered.
