User’s Guide
Enter a name for the panel in the name field.
The file name created as a result of your choice in this section has an extension that is based on
the panel type. For example, the file extension for an NV9601 panel is
.601 .
EC9700/EC9710 Page
The ‘EC9700/EC9710’ page (under the ‘Configuration’ pane) lists all software control panels you
have defined in your configuration. This is a sample ‘EC9700/EC9710’ page:
There are 3 sections in the page:
• Filters
• Panel List
• Buttons
Filters
At the top of the page are 2 filters:
• SW Panel Name Filter. If you enter text in this field, the list of panels is restricted to those pan-
els whose names contain the text you entered
• User Filter. If you select a user name in the drop-down list of this field, the list of panels is
restricted to those panels that are assigned to the NV9000 user name selected.
Panel List
The panel list has 5 columns:
• ID. These are the database IDs of the panels.
• Computer (or Windows User) Name.
Represents either the computer name of the PC on which the GUI will run or the Windows
user name of the user who will be operating the GUI.
 When the corresponding panel is installed, its installation option “per-user or per-
computer” must match the setting you choose in this configuration.
