Tally (GPIO) Section
Below the tree window is the tally section of the configuration page.
It has two sections: inputs and outputs. By clicking on one of the input or output buttons, you
can configure that input or output. (These buttons represent the DB25 connector at the rear.)

Single-Destination Mode
Single-destination mode (a.k.a. “single-bus” or “button-per-source” mode) can be emulated in
either X-Y mode or MD mode.
The simplest form presents a group of “quick source” buttons. If you configure a default destina-
tion in the panel options, all the quick sources could be taken to a (single) default destination
with no need for destination selection.
Multi-Destination Configuration
Multi-destination (MD) devices are a subset of all destination devices. You can configure a panel
to have from 8 to 512 MD destinations in increments of 8 destinations. Not all of those need be
used. The limit to the number of MD devices is a panel option.
A configurer follows these guidelines to configure MD devices:
1 Click any button in the panel image. In the button definition section, choose ‘Selection’ from
the drop-down list. A ‘Display Index’ field and an ‘Edit Multi-Dest Devices’ button appear in
the button definition section.
Use the ‘Display Index’ field to assign a unique number to the button. When the panel is in
MD mode, the display index will represent one of the MD devices. Which MD device is sub-
ject to the panel operator’s scrolling the list of MD devices.
(The display index for the button also represents a virtual level when the panel is in X-Y
mode.)
