NV9601

(System salvos are defined elsewhere in NV9000-SE Utilities. Local salvos are defined by
panel operators while the router control system is running. Therefore, when you add salvos
to or remove salvos from the list, you are adding or removing placeholders pointing to sal-
vos defined elsewhere.)

Among the function buttons at the far right of the graphic are 10 buttons colored yellow.
These are category buttons. (These buttons are also used under setup and menu modes.)
They can be configured only as category buttons.

The buttons under the display (which are selection buttons) cannot be configured.

Panel options.

In this section, configurers specify the behavioral characteristics of the panel. See the
NV9601 User’s Guide for detailed information.

Button Definition Section

The button definitions section has several controls:

When you choose a button type, additional drop-down menus can appear, depending on the
button type, allowing you to further specify the button’s behavior. Available options and selec-
tions vary from button type to button type. You will frequently see these options:

Button Type

A drop-down menu where you may select a button type.

Level Set Filter

A drop-down menu listing level sets. Choosing a level set here restricts the
list of categories or devices to those belonging to that level set.
