‘Add Tieline’ Page

Cancel
The buttons are grayed out (disabled) until they become applicable. For instance, you cannot
use the ‘Previous’ button (to go to a previous page) until you have used the ‘Next’ button to go
to one of the next pages.
‘Previous’ Button
Click the ‘Previous’ button if you want to go to the previous page in the tieline definition
sequence.
‘Next’ Button
Click ‘Next’ to go to the tieline editing page. In this page, you specify the connections of the
tieline.
‘Finish’ Button
Click ‘Finish’ to accept the tieline thus far defined in the ‘Add Tieline’ page.
The tieline definition, as specified in the ‘Add Tieline’ page is incomplete. You must later go to
the
to edit the tieline.
This button allows you to create a number of tieline definitions rapidly and complete them later.
After you click ‘Finish’, the ‘Add Tieline’ page remains and is re-initialized for additional entries.
‘Cancel’ Button
Click ‘Cancel’ if you want to terminate the tieline definition you started.
When you click ‘Cancel’, the ‘Add Tieline’ page re-initializes for another entry.
Basic Information

Tieline Name
Enter a name for the tieline in the ‘Tieline Name’ field. Panel operators rarely see tieline
names. The Web Suite, and perhaps other software, identifies tielines by the names you give
them. Users of the Web Suite can see tieline operations as they occur.

Tieline Description
Enter any description that is useful to your configuration.
