Control Panels
Control Panels Page

User Filter. If you select a user name in the drop-down list of this field, the list of panels is
restricted to those panels that are assigned to the user name selected.
Panel List
The panel list has 6 columns:

Panel ID. These are the panel IDs that are assigned to each panel during configuration. Every
panel in your system

hardware or virtual
—
must have a unique panel ID. (The software
panels do not have panel IDs.)

Panel Name. These are the names that are assigned to each panel during configuration.
•
Panel Type. These are the types, chosen at configuration, of the panels in the list.
•
Configuration Name. These fields give the pathnames of the panel configuration files in the
NV9000 system controller’s file system.
•
User. These are the user names that are assigned to the panels in the list.
•
Description. The description fields are free-form and their content is optional.
You can use click, shift-click, and control-click techniques to select any of the panels in the list.
Buttons
‘Edit Selected Control Panels’ Button
This button opens one or more control panel pages
—
one for for each of the panels you have
selected in the panel list. It is in a control panel page that you specify the details of a control
panel.
Please refer to the various hardware panels described later in this chapter for information about
the panels.
‘Add Control Panel’ Button
This button causes NV9000-SE Utilities to display the ‘Add Control Panel’ page. The ‘Add Control
Panel’ page starts a control panel definition.
