Export to File

Export to File

The ‘Export to File’ page starts a series of steps, in multiple pages, in which you create a .csv file.
There are two ways to get the ‘Export to File’ page:

Click the ‘Export’ button at the bottom of the ‘Input Phys Conns’ page of the ‘Output Phys
Conns’ page (of the ‘Configuration’ pane).

Click ‘Export to File’ in the ‘Tasks’ pane.

Initial Page

This is a sample of the initial ‘Export to File’ page:

This page, as the start of a series, provides 2 basic fields:

Table.

Choose this option to export a selected table. (You specify the table, and other export
options, in a subsequent page.)

Devices and their Physical Connections.

Choose this option to export the devices and their physical connections that belong to a
specified level set. (You specify the level set in a subsequent page, and you can also specify
whether to export inputs, outputs, or both.)

Buttons

At the bottom of the page (and other pages in the export equence) are buttons that allow you
to move through the sequence of steps in device definition. This page has two buttons:

Next

Cancel

(Previous which is not present in this particular page)

Generally, the buttons are grayed out (disabled) until they become applicable. For instance, you
cannot use the ‘Previous’ button (to go to a previous page) until you have used the ‘Next’ button
to go to one of the next pages.

‘Next’ Button

Click ‘Next’ to go to the second page (name??) of the export sequence.
