Filter

At the top of the page is a ‘Name’ filter: if you enter text in this field, the list of tielines is
restricted to those tielines whose names contain the text you entered.

Tieline List

The tieline list has 6 columns:

ID

The ID is the data base ID of the tieline. It is generated automatically and you cannot modify
these fields.

Control System

The control system in which the tieline is defined. The fields in this column are drop-down
lists from which you can choose a control system.

(Control systems are defined in the

Control Systems Table

(page 442).

Control System’s Tieline2 ID

This is the database ID of the tieline with respect to the control system to which is assigned
(and in which the tieline is actually defined).

For multi-site tielines to function properly, these IDs must be listed accurately. For local
tielines, this field is the same as the ID field.

Cost

This the relative cost of the tleline. The cost is a value you can assign to a tieline based on fac-
tors known to you. There is no general formula that you can apply.

Name

This is the name of the tieline, usually assigned in the ‘Tielines’ page or the ‘Add Tieline’
page. You can modify the name in this table.

Description

This is the description of the tieline, usually assigned in the tieline configuration page. You
can revise the description in this table. The description is free-format.

Buttons

At the bottom of the page are 5 simple buttons:

Add

Click ‘Add’ to add a tieline to the table. A new row appears at the bottom of the table in
which you can enter data.

Delete

Select one or more rows of the table and click ‘Delete’ to delete those rows from the table.
The rows are deleted immediately.
