Introduction
External interfaces are licensed NV9000 software components that can be purchased and added
to your NV9000 system controller.
An external interface provides a link between the NV9000 system controller and a third-party
control system. The system controller can control the third-party system or the third-party
system can control the NV9000. In some cases, the control can flow in both directions.
There are three pages in NV9000-SE Utilities that concern external interfaces:
•
‘External Interfaces’ page, accessed through the ‘Configuration’ pane.
•
‘Add External Interface’ page, accessed through the ‘Tasks’ pane.
•
‘Apps’ table, accessed through the ‘Views’ pane.
