User’s Guide
This is the “NVRP16” configuration page:
After you have configure the panel’s buttons, and the panel options, the page will have
changed, showing, in particular, the text of the buttons you have defined.
At the bottom of the page are 3 important buttons: ‘Revert to Saved’, ‘Save’, and “Save & Close’.
The ‘Save’ button commits modifications you have just made. The ‘Revert to Saved’ button
restores the last saved version of the panel configuration, canceling any changes you just made.
‘Save & Close’ saves the panel configuration and dismisses the page.
Regions of the Configuration Page
There are 3 main regions:
•
A graphic representation of the CP1616.
On the left are 32 configurable buttons. On the right are 6 buttons, 2 of which have fixed
assignment: ‘Dest Lock’ and ‘Panel Lock’.
Panel buttons are backlit buttons, not LCD buttons, and can be illuminated in green, amber,
or red. There are 3 levels of illumination: high tally (bright), low tally (muted) and off.
•
Button definitions.
In this section, configurers make button assignments, using its pull-down menus and text
fields. See
, following.
•
Panel options.
In this section, configurers may specify the behavioral characteristics of the panel. There are
two options:
Default Destination: if you specify a default destination, the panel powers up with the
default destination selected.
Status monitor: the destination you select in this field is identified as that of the status moni-
tor. (This is a monitor in the NV9000 system; it is not a feature of the RP16 itself.)
