User’s Guide
• Edit
Select one or more rows in the GUIs list and click ‘Edit’ to open a software panel configura-
tion page for each of the selected GUIs.
See the description of the software panel configuration pages in this chapter for more infor-
mation.
• Save
Click ‘Save’ to commit (make permanent) the changes you have made in the page.
• Revert to Saved
Click ‘Revert to Saved’ to restore the saved list of GUIs, discarding any changes you have
made (since the last save).
• Save & Close
Click ‘Save & Close’ to commit the changes you have made in the page and then close the
page.
NV9601
NV9601 Panel Description
The NV9601 is a 2RU control panel that has a large alphanumeric display, 36 function buttons, 8
selection buttons, and 2 scrolling buttons. The alphanumeric display has 8 lines of 42 characters.
The 8 selection buttons correspond to the 8 lines of the display, the leftmost selection button
corresponding to the top line and the rightmost button corresponding to the bottom line.
Operators select what is displayed on the particular line with the matching button:
An equivalent virtual panel — the NV9601V — is available.
The panels can operate in one of 2 modes:
• X-Y mode.
• Multi-destination (MD) mode.
The panels can be configured so that either mode is selectable by the operator.
