‘Add Mutiple Devices’ Page
The ‘Add Multiple Devices’ page can be found in the ‘Tasks’ pane.
The ‘Add Multiple Devices’ page starts a series of steps, in multiple pages, in which you create a
set of related devices.

The series of devices created by this page have names that consist of a base name (or prefix) and
a sequence number (or suffix). The prefix and the suffix can be separated by one or more “fill”
characters.
(The term suffix as used here has a different meaning from the term suffix in relation to catego-
ries and device selection by category. Here, a suffix is just a sequence number.)
The series of devices also have I/O ports that are enumerated according to a starting number
and an increment that you specify in the second page of the ‘Add Multiple Devices’ page series.
