Unchecking the ‘All Levels’’ option means that the command occurs on a single source level, on
a single destination level, or both.

Source Master

The ‘Source Master’ option is enabled only for the ‘Take’ command and then only when the ‘All
Levels’ option is unchecked.

The ‘Source Master’ option applies only for takes on a machine control level.

Checking the ‘Source Master’ option means that the source device is the master in the machine
control connection and that the destination is not the master. Leaving the option unchecked
means that the destination is the master.

When you select the ‘Source Master’ option, the salvo editor appends “using Source Master
Mode” to the ‘Take’ command:

Take AIN 12 on HD to AOUT 5 on HD using Source Master Mode

If you have also checked the ‘Broadcast’ option, the ‘Source Master’ option is a no-op. The
‘Broadcast’ option overrides the ‘Source Master’ option.

Broadcast

The ‘Broadcast’ option is enabled only for the ‘Take’ command and then only when the ‘All
Levels’ option is unchecked.

The ‘Broadcast’ option applies only for takes on a machine control level.

Checking the ‘Broadcast’ option means that the route is part of a broadcast route. Leaving the
option unchecked means that the router is a simple route.

When you select the ‘Broadcast’ option, the salvo editor appends “using Broadcast Master
Mode” to the ‘Take’ command:

Take AIN 12 on HD to AOUT 5 on HD using Broadcast Master Mode

If you have also checked the ‘Broadcast’ option, the ‘Source Master’ option is a no-op. The
‘Broadcast’ option overrides the ‘Source Master’ option.

Salvo Composition Buttons

There are 6 salvo composition buttons:

Some of these buttons refer to a selection of command lines in the salvo operations section. Use
standard click, shift-click, and control-click methods to make a selection of command lines.

These are the buttons:

Remove

Click the ‘Remove’ button to delete selected command lines.

Replace

Click the ‘Replace’ button to replace the (single) command you have selected with the com-
mand you have composed.

If you have more than one command selected in the salvo, the command section is disabled
(grayed out) and the ‘Replace’ button is also disabled.
