User’s Guide
It is possible
—
in fact, easy
—
to create duplicate indexes using this button. This might be
undesirable.
Hide Index
This button causes NV9000-SE Utilities to remove the ‘Index’ column from the device list.
If you are not be concerned with indexes, the column might be a distraction.
Add Device
This button adds devices to the device list. When you click ‘Add Device’, NV9000-SE Utilities
presents a dialog in which you can select devices and choose a method by which to add the
devices to the list:
This dialog has 3 sections (not including the buttons at the bottom):
•
Filters
There are two filters.
The ‘Device Filter’ restricts the device list by device name. If a device name does not begin
with the text you specify as this filter, it is excluded from the list.
The ‘Level Sets’ filter is a drop-down list. It restricts the device list to those devices that
belong to the level set you select from the drop-down list. (The first entry in the drop-down
list is “All” which means all level sets. If you choose this entry, the device list is not restricted
by level set.)
•
Available devices
This section presents all available devices (subject to the filters).
The ID column is the database ID of the device. The ‘Level Set’ column shows the level sets to
which the devices belong.
