Continuous mode
In the case of continuous setpoint specification, an external
position setpoint is tracked. The setpoint values can be speciĆ
fied by the PLC/via the fieldbus.
The continuous setpoint specification is only possible in diĆ
rect operating mode and mainly corresponds with the free
profile.
Properties:
ć Speed, acceleration and deceleration are limited to values
specified by the user (no automatic limitation).
ć It is possible to set the mass at the start of continuous
positioning mode.
General properties
The following generally applies for position control:
ć Setpoint values are filtered (low−pass) to smoothen"
jump−like changes.
ć Following error monitoring (signal, if following error is
greater than the monitoring window).
ć Monitoring of software end positions (end position limitaĆ
tion and warning).
