bgp bestpath compare-routerid
no bgp bestpath compare-routerid
Function:
Compare route ID; the “no bgp bestpath compare-routerid” command cancels this configuration.
Default:
Not configured.
Command Mode:
BGP route mode
Usage Guide:
Normally the first arrived route from the same AS (with other conditions equal) will be chosen as the
best route. By using this command, source router ID will also be compared.
Example:
Device (10.1.1.66, AS200) receives the same route prefix from two devices (10.1.1.64 and
10.1.1.68) of the same AS (100), configure the device to compare route ID.

Configure to compare the MED attributes in the confederation path and to consider the value is the
largest when MED is unavailable . The “no bgp bestpath med {[confed] [missing-as-worst]}”
command cancels this configuration.
Parameter:
[confed]: Compare MED in the confederation path.
[missing-is-worst]: Consider as max MED value when missing.
