33.25 maximum-prefix
Command:
maximum-prefix <maximum-prefix> [<threshold>]
no maximum-prefix
Function:
Configure the maximum number of RIP routes in the route table. The “no maximum-prefix”
command cancels the limit.
Parameter:
the maximum number of RIP route, ranging between 1-65535; a warning is
given when the number rate of current route exceeds ranging between 1-100, default
at 75.

Usage Guide:
The maximum RIP route only limits the number of routes learnt through RIP but not includes direct
route or the RIP static route configured by the route command. The base on which the comparison
is performed is the number of route marked R in the show ip route database, and also the number of
RIP routes displayed in the show ip route statistics command.
