Displays a process summary.

Synopsis

i [processID]

Description

Use this command to display information about a specified process or about all processes running
on the local switch. One line is displayed per process. Fields displayed with this command include
those shown in

Table 20

.

Note

The execution of this command is subject to Virtual Fabric or Admin Domain restrictions that may
be in place. Refer to chapter 1, "Using Fabric OS commands" and Appendix A, "Command
Availability"
for details.

UID

The effective user ID number of the process

PID

The process ID of the process

PPID

The process ID of the parent process

C

Processor utilization for scheduling

PRI

Priority number of the process; higher numbers mean lower priority

NI

Nice value used in priority computation

ADDR

Memory address of the process

SZ

The total size of the process in virtual memory, in pages

WCHAN

The address of an event for which a process is sleeping (if blank,
process is running)

TTY

The controlling terminal of the process (? displayed for no controlling
terminal)

TIME

The cumulative execution time for the process

CMD

The command name of the process
