Name
Displays switch command history.
Synopsis
clihistory
Description
This command saves the following information whenever a command is executed on the switch:
•
Timestamp
•
Username
•
IP address of the Telnet session
•
Options
•
Arguments
This command displays the local CLI command history. The information is saved as part of
supportSave as the CH file. It is also saved persistently to compact flash if the switch panics. The
maximum number of saved entries for this command is 512.
The CLI history is erased, if the switch is rebooted or a CP failover has occurred on the active CP.
Note
The execution of this command is subject to Virtual Fabric or Admin Domain restrictions that may
be in place. Refer to chapter 1, "Using Fabric OS commands" and Appendix A, "Command
Availability" for details.
This command cannot be executed on the standby CP.
