How to Make ID Sets

To Change the Settings for a Test in the Project
1 If the test you want to change does not show on the home
screen, tap the test setup panel, tap the test, then tap USE
SELECTED.
2 On the home screen, tap the test setup panel.
3 On the CHANGE TEST screen, tap the test, then tap EDIT
4 Use the TEST SETUP screen to make changes to the test
settings.
Note
If you change the Test Type, and the test you
select is not selected on the CABLE ID SETUP, EDIT
CABLE IDs, or IMPORTED IDs screen, the results
you save will not affect the % Tested value.
5 When you have completed your selections, tap SAVE.
To Save Results in a Different or New Project
To save results in a different or new project, press home, tap the
project panel, then tap CHANGE PROJECT. Select a different
project, or tap NEW PROJECT to start a new project.
How to Make ID Sets
There are two methods you can use to make ID sets:
 Make sets of sequential IDs on the tester.
 Make sets of sequential IDs in LinkWare software, download
them to the tester, then import them into a project on the
tester. These sets can include non-sequential IDs.
To make a set of sequential IDs, you enter the first and last ID in
the set. The tester (or LinkWare software) increments the letters
and numbers in the first ID from right to left to make a set of IDs
that starts with your first ID and ends with your last ID. Special
characters, letters with accents, and letters that are the same in
the first and last IDs do not increment.
