To show the scales, tap SCALE ON (  ).
 Outer, blue ring: 250 µm cladding
 Middle, green rings: 120 µm and 130 µm
 Inner, yellow rings: 25 µm and 62.5 µm (to change the size,
tap NEXT SCALE)
 To adjust the brightness or contrast of the image, tap , then
move the bars on the controls. To hide the controls, tap
again.
 To show the scales (  ), tap , then tap SCALE ON. To change
the size of the measurement ring for the fiber core, tap NEXT
SCALE.
 To give a PASS or FAIL grade to the image, tap GRADE. See  .
 To put the screen in still mode and turn off the probe, tap .
Tap to turn on the probe again.
 To give the image a grade of PASS or FAIL, tap GRADE (  ). If you
set the grade to FAIL, then save the image, the ID for the image
is in the list of tests to do again.
To zoom in and out, tap to put the screen in still mode, then
use the pinch, reverse-pinch, and double-tap gestures on the
touchscreen. See Figure 5 on page 18.
