40.52 debug pim sparse-mode
To display Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) packets received and sent, and to display PIM-related
events, use the debug pim command in privileged EXEC mode. To disable debugging output, use the
no form of this command.
Command Syntax

Usage
PIM uses Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) packets to communicate with switches and
advertise reachability information.
Use this command with the debug igmp commands to display additional multicast routing information.
