40.48 debug dhcp snooping
To display debugging information about the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) snooping
and to monitor the status of DHCP packets, use the debug dhcp snooping command in privileged
EXEC mode. To disable debugging output, use the no form of this command.
Command Syntax
debug dhcp snooping {all | dump | error | events | packet}
no debug dhcp snooping {all | dump | error | events | packet}
all
Debug all information of DHCP snooping.
dump
Specify the output as format of Hexadecimal.
error
Debug error information of DHCP snooping.
events
Debug events of DHCP snooping.
packet
Decodes DHCP receptions and transmissions.

Examples
The following example shows a combination of DHCP snooping events and decoded receptions and
transmissions::
Switch# debug dhcp snooping events
Switch# debug dhcp snooping packet

To display Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) packets received and sent, and IGMP-host
related events, use the debug ip igmp command in privileged EXEC mode. To disable debugging
output, use the no form of this command.
