24.12 ip pim register-source
Use this command to set the source address for pim register.
To return the source address for pim register to default value, use the no form of this command.
Command Syntax
ip pim register-source interface
no ip pim register-source
interface: the name of the interface. Use the address of this interface to be the source address for pim
register.

Usage
The source address for pim register is the interface ip of dr by default.
Examples
This example shows how to set the source address for pim register to the ip address of interface
eth-0-1.
Switch(config)#ip pim register-source eth-0-1
This example shows how to return the source address for pim register to default value.
Switch(config)#no ip pim register-source
