4. Configure the mail-to section of the page as follows:
5. Click OK to save and add the changes to the running configuration and close the dialog.
6. Click Cancel to close the dialog without committing updates to the running configuration.
Configuring Trap Thresholds
Use the Wireless Statistics Thresholds screen to modify existing threshold conditions values for
individual trap descriptions. Refer to the greater than, less than and worse than conditions to
interpret how the values should be defined. Additionally, the Unit of threshold Values increment
should be referenced to interpret the unit of measurement used.
To configure SNMP trap threshold values:
User Name Enter the username for the user which will be sending outgoing mail through the
SMTP server.
Password Enter the password associated with the above username.
Enable Authentication Check the Enable Authentication box to enable support for SMTP Authentication
which is required for certain outgoing SMTP servers.
To Address(es) Specify an e-mail address or addresses that notifications will be sent to. To add an
e-mail address to the list, enter the email address in the To Address(es) field and
click the Add button. There is a maximum of 4 e-mail addresses allowed on the list.
Add Click the Add button to add an e-mail address that is in the To Address(es) field to
the list below.
Remove Select an e-mail address from the list and click the Remove button to delete that
address from the list.
From Address Enter an e-mail address that will serve as the From address for the notifications
sent by the switch.
Subject Prefix Enter a short subject line that will prepend the subject line in each outgoing
notification e-mail.
