7. Refer to the Status field for the current state of the requests made from applet. This field
displays error messages if something goes wrong in the transaction between the applet and
the switch.
8. Click Cancel to close the dialog without committing updates to the running configuration.
Accessing Message Parameters
Refer to the Message Parameters screen for the SNMP values.
To edit the values in the Message Parameters:
1. Select Management Access > SNMP Access from the main menu tree.
2. Select the Message Parameters tab from within the SNMP.
3. Refer to the fields within the Message Parameters screen for the following information:
Accessing SNMP v3 Statistics
Refer to the Statistics screen for a read-only overview of SNMP V3 events and the current values.
The screen also displays Usm Statistics (SNMP V3 specific events specific to the User-based
Security Model) and their values.
Retries
Displays the number of SNMP retries that the SNMP manager will
attempt, by sending the request to the agent.
Timeout
Displays the time (in seconds) to wait for a SNMP response to
comeback before retrying.
Rows per
request
Displays how many rows per data to fetch per request.
