Introduction
This chapter provides a brief overview of the Small System’s Survivability
feature. It also describes the procedures to configure Survivability on a new
system, or add the capability to an existing Small System.
Operating modes
The following are the two modes of operation:

Survivability is the ability of a Small System’s IP Expansion Cabinet or
Chassis to perform Call Processing, for its local resources, when it is
