Installing the Krone Test Jack Frame for the UK
The Krone Test Jack Frame provides terminating strips that hold 10 pairs of
cable. Generally, only 8 of the 10 pairs are used. As a result, one 25-pair
cable requires three terminating strips:
8 pairs/strip x 3 strips = 24 pairs
Figure 103 "25-pair cable on three Krone strips" (page 219) shows how
one 25-pair cable is divided among three terminating strips on the Krone
Test Jack Frame.
