Maestro Configuration and Deployment Computer
The Configuration/Deployment PC may be supplied by you, the customer;
however, this practice is not recommended because it does not provide you
with a factory-tested system. In any case, the PC is subject to performance
specifications as stipulated by Grass Valley. If circumstances require a cus-
tomer-supplied computer, it must meet or exceed the following minimum
specifications:
• Core 2 Duo Processor
• 2 GB RAM
• 80 Gigabyte hard drive
• CD-ROM drive
• 2 LAN ports
• Keyboard / mouse
• 15-inch or larger monitor capable of 1280 x 1024 x 256 resolution
• Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (English version)
The PC's frame must be able to accommodate the GUI panel card (see
Figure 306 ), which is a card that will fit in a PCI slot and has a 4 pin power
connector on the top of the board. The dimensions for the GUI panel card
are 7.90X3.88 inches (200.66X98.45 mm).
