Maestro Content Manager
Service Configuration
This section provides Configuration instructions for the Maestro Content
Manager service, which is part of the 2.4.0 version of the Maestro Master
Control System. The Maestro Content Manager service allows you to
manage and configure multiple Maestro Content Manager servers from
one location.
The Maestro Content Manager Service appropriates Port 21 on the machine
that is being used for FTP transfers. Other applications will fail, even FTP
applications, when they use Port 21.
The Configuration Process
This section describes the steps needed to select and connect to Content
Manager Server, define the channels that you will use, and save and update
the configuration.
Starting the Maestro Content Manager Server Application
Follow these steps to start the Maestro Content Manager Server Applica-
tion:
1. Click the Maestro Content Manager Center icon ( Figure 284 ).
