Forwarding Database Search
From the Forwarding Database Search page, you can view MAC address
entries and search a specific MAC address from the database.
Viewing the
Forwarding
Database
To view the forwarding database, do the following:
1. From the Navigation pane, go to System > System > Forwarding
Database > Search.
The Forwarding Database Search page is displayed as shown in
Figure 34.

2. Observe the fields as shown in Table 7.

Field Description
MAC address The first two groups of hexadecimal digits
indicate the VLAN ID. The rest of the
hexadecimal digits indicates the MAC address.
Source Slot/Port(0) Indicates the port number.
Interface Index Indicates the interface index.
