5. Click the following buttons as needed:

Refresh — Refreshes the display on this page.

Delete — Cancels adding the access point.

Submit — Adds or modifies the access points with the settings and
saves them to the running configuration file.

To save your changes to the startup configuration file, see “Save All
Applied Changes” on page 39
.

Importing a List

of Access Points

To import a list of access points with a CSV file, do the following:

1. From the Navigation pane, go to WLAN > Basic Setup and click the

Valid AP tab.

The Valid Access Point Summary page is displayed as shown in Figure
105 on page 199.

2. Click Import.

The Valid Access Point Database Importing page is displayed.

AP Mode

Select the AP mode of the access point. The
options are:

Managed - Managed by the WLAN
Controller

Standalone - Managed independently

Rogue - Classified as a threat by WIDS

Location

Specify the location information of the access
point. This is optional. The location can be up to 32
alphanumeric characters.

Authentication
Password

Specify the authentication password. Before
entering the value, you mush check the Edit
checkbox.

Edit

Check the checkbox to enter the authentication
password.

Profile

Select an AP profile.

Channel

Select a channel from the select list.

Power

Specify the power in percentage.
