Outside circle

Move the touch probe to a starting position near the first touch point ➀ outside of the circle.

X + X – Y + Y –

Select the probe direction.

Probe the workpiece.

Repeat the probing process for points ➁, ➂, and ➃ (see illustration).

Enter the coordinates of the datum.

After the probing procedure is complete the TNC displays the coordinates
of the circle center and the circle radius PR.

Enter the first coordinate or the datum, here in the X axis.

Select the second coordinate.

DATUM

Enter the second coordinate, here in the Y axis.

Terminate the probe function.
