General Overview

Dimensions in the tool axis

The dimensions for the tool axis are always referenced to the position of
the tool at the time of the cycle call and interpreted by the control as
incremental dimensions. The incremental key does not have to be
pressed. The algebraic sign programmed for depth determines the
working direction.

The control assumes that the workpiece is located at clearance height over the workpiece at the beginning of the
cycle (except for SL cycles of group II).

Cycles preset by the manufacturer (OEM cycles)

The machine manufacturer can store additional cycles in the control memory. These cycles can be called-up via
cycle numbers 68 to 99. See your machine tool manual.
