4 POS and CPOS interface configuration

Support for VPN

Each E1/T1 channel or MP group corresponds to a VPN. The STM-1 CPOS interface supports

to add or remove an E1/T1 channel or an MP group into or from a VRF. For the E1/T1

channel and the MP group added to the VPN, you can set whether to allow access to the

public routing table.

Traffic statistics

The SR8000 supports IP/MPLS data packet forwarding and traffic statistics on the E1/T1

channel and the MP group.

4.2 Configuring POS interfaces

4.2.1 Establishing the configuration task

Applicable Environment

When you use SONET/SDH to bear packet data, you need to configure the POS interface.
