8.10.2 Configuring IPHC on an frame relay main interface
Do as follows on the routers:
Step 1
Run:
system-view
The system view appears.
Step 2
Choose one of the following steps to enter the corresponding interface view as required.
•
Run the
interface
interface-type interface-number command to enter the FR main
interface view.
•
Run the
interface mfr
interface-number command to enter the MFR interface view.
Step 3
Run:
fr compression iphc
The command enables IPHC on the interface.
Step 4
Run:
fr iphc { nonstandard | rtp-connections numberl | tcp-connections number2 | tcp-include }
The command enables the IPHC function.

ED NOTE
•
You perform step 3 and step 4 regardless of the sequence.
•
After disabling IPHC by using the
undo fr compression iphc
command, the configuration of Step 4
still takes effect. After you re-enable IPHC by using the
fr compression iphc
command, parameters
you configured in step 4 remain effective.
