7.8.7 Example for configuring the SVC function of XOT
Networking requirements
You connect Router B and Router C to each other through the Ethernet interface. Set up a
TCP connection between the routers, through which the X.25 packets can forward. Configure
SVC to implement the SVC XOT function.

Configuration roadmap
The configuration roadmap is as follows:
1.
Configure the link protocol on each interface.
2.
Allocate X121 and IP addresses to each interface.
3.
Configure the switching function between Router B and Router C.
4.
Configure the address mapping and the SVC XOT route.
Data preparation
To complete the configuration, you need the following data:
•
The IP addresses of the interfaces on Router A, Router B, Router C and Router D are
1.1.1.1/8, 10.1.1.1/8, 10.1.1.2/8, and 1.1.1.2/8 respectively.
•
The X121 addresses of Router A and Router D are 1 and 2 respectively.
