6 PPP and MP configuration
The system view appears.
Step 2 Run:
aaa
The AAA view appears.
Step 3 Run:
local-user user-name password { simple | cipher } password
The command adds the user name and password of the authenticated into the local user list.
Step 4 Run:
quit
Return to the system view.
Step 5 Run:
interface interface-type interface-number
The interface view appears.
Step 6 Run:
ppp chap user user-name
The command configures the local user name.
Step 7 Run:
restart
The command restarts the interface d.
Où NOTE
If the user name and the password are changed, use the restart, shutdown or undo shutdown command
under the interface view to validate the configuration.
