10.3.2 Creating an ATM-class
Do as follows on the routers:
Step 1
Run:
system-view
The system view appears.
Step 2
Run:
atm class atm-class-name
The command configures an ATM-class.
After creating the ATM-class, set all the necessary parameters under its view. The following
are the parameters:
Enabling the sending and retransmission detection of OAM F5 loopback cells
Enabling the InARP on the PVC
Configuring IPoA mapping on the PVC
Configuring IPoEoA mapping on the PVC
Configuring PPPoA mapping on the PVC
Configuring PPPoEoA mapping on the PVC
Configuring PVC service types and the corresponding rate parameters

NOTE
When configuring IPoA mapping on the PVC using ATM-class, do as follows: On the same ATM
interface, configure one PVC with InARP. If you have configured one PVC with in ARP, do not perform
the above mentioned configuration.

10.3.3 Applying the ATM-class
The same parameters that you configuredirectly in PVC view have the highest precedence.
Those of the ATM-class applied on the PVC and applied on the ATM interface rank second
and third respectively.
Applying the ATM-class to an ATM interface
Do as follows on the routers:
Step 1
Run:
system-view
The system view appears.
Step 2
Run:
interface atm interface-number[.subinterface ]
The ATM interface or the sub-interface view appears.
