2 Serial interface configuration

Configuration -WAN Access
crc { 16 | 32 | no-crc }
The command configures the parity bit of the HSSI interface.
By default, the parity bit is 16.

2.3.5 Configuring the loopback mode
Do as follows on the routers:
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view appears.
Step 2 Run:
interface hssi interface-number
The HSSI interface view appears.
Step 3 Run:
loopback { local | remote }
The command configures the loopback mode of the interface.
The loopback tests some special function and locates the faults. When the system works
normally, you do not need to configure the loopback.
