Networking requirements
As shown in Figure 8-8, in the general packet radio service (GPRS) application, you set up a
FR link between a base station controller (BSC) and a serving GPRS support node (SGSN).
Router A serves as a FR switch.
You transparently back up SGSN 1 to SGSN 2. When errors occur on SGSN 1, the BSC can
automatically communicate with SGSN 2 without determining that SGSN 1 is out of service.
Configure switching PVC back up on Router A to implement the above requirements.
