8 Frame relay configuration
After a physical interface is encapsulated with MFR, the interface becomes a part of MFR and
you cannot configure with other FR commands besides MFR. At the same time, you configure
the queue type on the interface as FIFO. If you use other queue types before the interface
encapsulation, they are automatically changed into FIFO queues.
In the current realization, MFR does not support inter-board bundle. In other words, physical
interfaces in different slots cannot be bundled onto the same MFR.
Preconfiguration tasks
Before configuring MFR, you need to configure physical parameters for MFR.

To configure MFR, you need the following data.

Do as follows on the routers:
Step 1
Run:
system-view
The system view appears.
Step 2
Run:
interface mfr interface-number[.subnumber [ p2mp | p2p ]
]
The command creates an MFR interface and the MFR interface view appears.
