6.9 Configuring MP limiting parameters
6.9.1 Establishing the configuration task
Applicable environment
After configuring MP binding, you can configure MP limiting parameters to optimize the link
channels.
The limiting parameters include:
•
MTU
•
Upper threshold of the number of the bound links
•
Lower threshold of the number of the bound links
•
Damping function
Preconfiguration tasks
Before configuring MP limiting parameters, complete the following tasks:
• Configuring physical attributes of the router interface.
•
Configuring the link layer protocol of the interface as PPP.
• Configuring MP binding.
