12.2.2 Enabling PPPoE
Do as follows on the routers:
Step 1
Run:
system-view
The system view appears.
Step 2
Run:
interface { ethernet | gigabitethernet } interface-number
The Ethernet interface view appears.
Step 3
Run:
pppoe-server bind virtual-template number
The command binds the interface with the VT.

The command configures the PPPoE service name.

You must bind the interface to the virtual interface template (VT) before you configure the
name of the PPPoE server on the server interface.
Using the
undo pppoe-server bind
command, you can cancel the binding by invalidating the
pppoe-server service-name
command configured on the interface.
